0 THE FUNERARY TEE

This season's 'theme' that we rested on was the art of the funeral.  We researched, and responded to the idea of a burial, or preparing death, or celebrating the dead.  The aesthetic used for funerary paraphernalia is insanely intricate, gaudy, and bottom line: religious.  Naturally we ran with these concepts with the FUNERARY CARD design, and took many various design elements in this homage to the funerary cards.  Boldly stated on the bottom line of this design is a latin phrase meaning "Bodies grow slowly and die quickly", which is pretty morbid but nevertheless accurate.
